What goes on at a dog show really? I heard it was political.
We have dog shows, to determin who gets to pass their genes on to the next generation. They are genetic beauty pageants... the ugly or genetically unhealthy genes are shown the door. It is a contest who "should" breed their dogs. If they don't win, they probably shouldn't be passing their genes onto little puppies.Some people, you know the type, go to the dog show for the politics and intrigue, the spying, the gossip, BS and the dirty tricks. The judge is there for a different reason. The judge is, educated, is there to pick the best genetic material (DNA). I told some people I teach politics M-F and I go to dog shows on the weekends to escape all the politics, and they just laughed and laughed.
